Why is it so freaking hard to get a job?!  Looking for a place to work has got to be one of the most frustrating things I have had to do.  What a way to boost the ol' self-esteem, beating your head day after day against some idiotic wretch, hoping against hope that they'll actually be interested in hiring you.  Of course, even after they say yes it's no guerantee you've succeeded.  Heaven only knows if it isn't just another cleverly worded rejection notice.  No matter how qualified you seem to be, there's always some other person better.  Bah.

I just found out that due to negligence on my part, I'll be lucky to get three out of ten participation points for this segment of my class.  Hooray for me. -_-

I was beginning to think that we wouldn't get any more this year.  Seven inches at Rachel's house, although my little brother got 22 at my house (little blighter!).  It made for some great sledding after we got my car shovelled out.  Rachel's little brother Noah took me to their sledding hill, but there was a stream running across our track. Rather than give up, we decided to bridge it with sticks and other debris we could scrounge up.  We ended up building a series of three dams upstream to slow the water down.  After pileing a bunch of snow on top of the sticks, it packed down and worked surprisingly well.  Of course, we ran into the big t
